The R1271C from Caen RFID is an RFID Embedded Reader module that operates from 865.600 - 867.600 MHz (ETSI EN 302 208 v. 3.1.1) and 902 - 928 MHz (FCC part 15.247). With programmable output power from 10 to 27 dBm, the reader can detect tags at a distance of more than 3 meters (depending on the antenna and tag dimensions). This low power RFID reader module has been designed to be integrated into battery-powered devices.
The radio-frequency core of the module is based on the Impinj R2000 chipset that permits it to achieve fast reading speeds and to be used in a dense reader and dense tag environments.
The Hadron mini - R1271C is available in versions for both European and US regulatory environments. It is available in a 32-pin surface-mount module that measures 1.14 x 1.26 x 0.15 inches and is EPC Class 1 Gen 2 – ISO18000-63 compliant. It is ideal for use in handheld devices, multiregional label printers and applicators, points of sale readers, and voice-operated gloves.
