The E510 from Impinj is a RAIN RFID Reader Chip that has worldwide regional support. It has a receive sensitivity of -82 dBm and a maximum read rate of 700 tags/second at a mid-range distance. This RFID chip has integrated RAIN RFID systems including a radio modem, self-jammer cancellation, RF front-end, MAC, baluns, microcontroller and power regulation (power detector). It is available in a 56-pin QFN package that measures 6 x 6 mm and consumes 0.5 W of power. This chip is ideal for use in IoT devices, or point-of-sale devices, mobile and wearable readers, smart appliances and connected consumables applications.
