M775 Image

The M775 from Impinj is a RAIN RFID Tag Chip that is designed for large-scale, global IoT deployments. It enables innovative solutions for consumer privacy, anti-counterfeiting, loss prevention, and embedded tagging when combined with the Impinj Authentication Service for cryptographic authentication of tagged items. This chip has an ISO/IEC 29167-11 based cryptographic computation engine, combined with a unique cryptographic key in each tag chip, to enable secure authentications while defending against malicious attacks. It can be attached to or embedded in nearly any item to enable solutions for high-speed inventory counting, loss prevention, frictionless self-checkout, and seamless product returns. The M775 has 128-bit EPC memory, and 32-bit user memory.

This chip improves tag readability and enables items to be read at longer distances, and faster to reduce inventory time and improve productivity. It also supports new capabilities to enable innovative solutions for consumer privacy, anti-counterfeiting, loss prevention, and embedded tagging. The chip allows for small, universal tags that can operate worldwide, simplifying the tag supply chain for a global enterprise.
