The Genesis Series from Advantech Wireless Technologies are Solid-State Power Amplifiers (SSPA)/Block Up-Converters (SSPB) that convert an input frequency from 950 – 1700 MHz to an output frequency from 13.75 – 14.5 GHz. They deliver an output power of up to 250 W with an adjustable gain of more than 75 dB (0.1 dB steps). These SSPA/SSPB have a phase noise of -107 dBc/Hz (@1 MHz offset), spurious levels of -65 dBc, and harmonics of -50 dBc. They are soft-fail ready and include an internal/external reference with auto sense. They are redundant and ready with no external controller and have a fully featured embedded web server. These SSPA/SSPBs support forward & reflected power monitoring and have true RMS power detection.
The Genesis Series SSPAs/SSPBs can be controlled via a secure SNMPv3 interface. They have calibrated output RF sample port and a field-replaceable fan assembly. These SSPA/SSPBs are available in weatherproof enclosures that measure 467 x 254 x 206 mm with an N-type (female) input connector and WR75 waveguide output interface. They require an AC supply and consume less than 1.5 kW of power.
