The APT-LNA-PLATE-XBAND from AmpliTech is a 1:2 Low-Noise Amplifier Redundant Plate System that operates from 7.25 to 7.75 GHz. It can simultaneously amplify two X-Band small signals for IF down-conversion and demodulation. The LNA System is configured for dual channel operation using two independent AmpliTech low noise amplifiers, with a common redundant (independent) low noise amplifier that can be remotely switched into operation on either channel using (customer supplied) 24 V DC redundancy control. This Redundant X-Band Low Noise Amplifier Plate has been designed for use in satellite communication systems.

The LNA provides a gain of 52 dB with an industry-leading noise temperature of 40K and a switching time of 75 ms. Each AmpliTech Low Noise Amplifier is field replaceable by the end-user without replacing the entire LNA System. It is available in a package that measures 19 x 17 x 10 inches with N-type (female) connectors.
