The B5KO from Communications & Power Industries is a Ka-Band SATCOM BUC/Amplifier System that upconverts an input frequency from 950-2000 MHz (L-band) to an output frequency of 27.5-31 GHz (Ka-band). The SSPA provides an output power of 160 W with a gain of over 60 dB.
The B5KO provides excellent AM/PM, phase noise, and spectral regrowth performance. It supports SNMP, Ethernet, and redundant switch controller (SIM) interfaces. This SATCOM amplifier system meets EMC directive 2014/30/EU specifications and is ideal for LEO/MEO/GEO constellations, SATCOM on the move, VSATs, and antenna-mount applications.
The system requires 10 MHz and 50 MHz external references. It requires an AC supply from 100-264 V and consumes up to 1200 VA of power.
