The iNetVu® FLY-74G from C-COM is a 74 cm Flyaway Antenna that operates in the Ka-Band from 17.8 to 20.2 GHz (Rx Band) and 29 to 30 GHz (Tx Band). This circularly polarized antenna has a self-pointing, auto-acquire system that is configurable with the iNetVu® 7710 controllers, providing fast satellite acquisition within minutes. It works seamlessly with the world’s emerging commercial GEO satellites and can be assembled in a few minutes by one person. The antenna supports 2-axis or 3-axis motorization with an azimuth range of ±180° and an elevation range from 0 to 90°. It can also be manually controlled when required. This antenna system requires a DC supply of 24 V and consumes less than 8 A of current.
The FLY-74G has a VSWR of less than 1.3:1 and a cross-polarization of more than 23 dB. It has a heavy-duty feed arm that supports a 3 W transceiver. This antenna is available in two ruggedized cases and has 10 m (33 feet) dual IFL, RG6 cable for Tx/Rx. It is suitable for use in applications that require reliable and/or remote connectivity in a rugged environment and provides affordable broadband Internet services (high-speed access, video & voice-over IP, file transfer, e-mail, or web browsing). The antenna is ideal for industries such as oil & gas exploration, military communications, disaster management, SNG, emergency communications backup, and many others.
