The ThinAir Ka1717 from ThinKom is a SATCOM Antenna that operates in the Ka-Band from 27.5 to 30 GHz (Tx band) and 17.7 to 20.2 GHz (Rx band). It supports GSO (Geostationary Satellites) and NGSO (Non-Geostationary Satellites) and delivers exceptional network flexibility and consistently high performance for global inflight broadband. This antenna provides an azimuth coverage of 360° and an elevation coverage from 7.5° to 90°. It supports a downlink data rate of up to 500 Mbps and an uplink data rate of up to 150 Mbps. This antenna has a network efficiency of up to 3 bits/Hz, an EIRP of 50.5 dBW, and an axial ratio of less than 1.5 dB.
