The Milli SAT EX from Get SAT is a SATCOM Terminal that operates from 17.5 to 21.2 GHz (Rx) and 27.5 to 31 GHz (Tx). It is optimized for voice, video, and data transmission and offers excellent performance in a compact package including a Multi-Purpose Shoulder Panel System. This terminal supports Roll-On/Roll-Off (RORO) C-130 airborne applications without requiring any modification to the aircraft. The unit’s radome does not obstruct existing aircraft surfaces, other instruments, or antennas while providing high bandwidth data throughput exceeding 30 Mbps with HTS satellites. It is FAA-compliant and is compatible with Inmarsat’s GX network. This terminal is fully compliant and meets the international IP66 ruggedized standards.
The Milli SAT EX is an integrated terminal and includes everything needed for operation, such as a modem, Antenna Control Unit (ACU), BUC (Block Up Converter), tracking sensors, LNB (Low Noise Block) downconverter and a full RF front-end. It has a G/T of up to 12 dB/K and an EIRP of 48.5 dBW. This SATCOM terminal provides an azimuth coverage of 360° and an elevation coverage from -6 to +90° with a velocity of more than 200°/sec (azimuth/elevation). It has an initial acquisition time of less than 30 seconds and a re-acquisition time of less than 100 ms. This terminal requires a DC supply from 22 to 56 V and consumes less than 150 W of power. It is available in an enclosure that measures 38 x 65 mm with RS-232 and Ethernet interfaces.
