The RaySat SR300-M from Gilat are Compact Satcom On-The-Move (SOTM) Antennas that operate from 7.25 to 21.2 GHz (Rx) and 7.9 to 31 GHz (Tx). They have a reliable, two-way antenna system that enables real-time broadband satellite communications, primarily for voice and data on-the-move or on-the-pause. These antennas feature an advanced flat panel array, which covers both the Rx and Tx bands and have multiple onboard tracking sensors, enabling accurate tracking, short initial acquisition, and instantaneous re-acquisition. The antennas have an elevation angle from 0° to 90° (automatic tracking up to 80°) and an azimuth tracking rate of 60°/s. They are suitable for defense and security applications to establish reliable, continuous, and quickly deployable broadband communications.
The SR300-M antennas are linearly or circularly polarized, provide a Tx gain of up to 33 dBi, and have a G/T ratio from 2 to 9 dB/K. They provide significant communication advantages for defense and security applications such as military C4I on-the-move, homeland and national security applications, and wide-scale backup communications for rescue services and emergency responders. These antennas have an option for a complete, integrated SOTM terminal with a unified management system, which includes seamless mechanical integration of a Gilat/Wavestream BUC and a Gilat MLT1000 modem.
The SR300-M SOTM antennas are available in IP67-rated enclosures that measure up to 52.2 x 49.0 x 26.2 cm (weighing up to 16 Kg) with N-type (female) and TNC-female connectors. They have minimal size, weight, and power (SWaP) for installation on small vehicles and marine vessels and can be easily mounted for quick and easy operation by non-technical personnel. These antennas meet the MIL-STD-810G environmental standard and MIL-STD-461F EMI/RFI standard.
