The AWMT-4000X Series from Advantech Wireless Technologies are X-Band Transceivers that operate from 7.9 to 8.4 GHz (Tx Band) and 7.25 to 7.75 GHz (Rx Band). They deliver 300 to 500 W of output power with a gain of more than 75 dB. These transceivers have an LNB that is connected to the transceiver with a single coaxial cable. They have a built-in microprocessor controller that provides external monitoring, control of the operating parameters, and redundancy control. The transceivers can be configured to operate in 1:1 redundancy mode. They have relay alarm indicators, LED status indicators, automatic high reflected power protection, and a harmonic filter.
The AWMT-4000X Series transceivers have local and remote control, providing excellent performance and user-friendly operation. It has a flexible and comprehensive monitor and control features that will fit into any network management system architecture. The user-friendly RS-232 interface provides a full set-up and fault monitoring capabilities via a PC or a hand-held terminal. The RS-485 interface provides functional remote Monitor & Control, using the Graphic User Interface (GUI) or the Monitor & Control Panel.
The transceivers are available in compact and weatherproof enclosures that measure 76.2 x 40.6 x 28.0 cm and have CPR-112 interfaces. They require an AC supply of 220 V and consume 2400-3000 W of power. The AWMT-4000X is designed to operate in the X-band with a 70 or 140 MHz IF interface. They are self-contained and are intended for mounting outdoors, close to the OMT of an antenna.
