The AM-9444 Series from Amplus Communication are C-Band Transceivers with a transmit frequency from 5850 to 7025 MHz and a receive frequency from 3400 to 4800 MHz. On the Tx side, they deliver an output power of 100/120/150/200 W with a gain of 80 dB and have a gain adjustment of 30 dB in 0.5 dB steps. The transceivers have a frequency step size of 1 MHz and frequency stability of ±0.02 ppm. They have a phase noise of -93 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offset, an intermodulation product of -27 dBc, and spurious levels of under -55 dBc. On the Rx side, they provide a gain of 45 dB with a gain adjustment of 30 dB in 0.5 dB steps.
The transceivers are based on field-proven, high-reliability microwave components with innovative, patent-pending packaging techniques and intelligent digital control for high performance in a low-cost space-saving design. They are designed for use in SCPC, DAMA, and TDMA VSAT satellite earth stations.
The AM-9444 Series provides monitoring & controlling through RS232/485, TCP/IP, and FSK interfaces. They have a tricolor LED status indicator to identify transceiver status instantly and have built-In redundancy that minimizes system loss and switching time. The transceivers are available in a weather-proof IP65 standard enclosure that measures 495 x 265 x 215 mm with N-type and CPR 137G input/output interfaces. They are suited for wide-area telephony, video conferencing, and data communications systems, and are designed for direct mounting on a wide range of earth station antennas.
The transceivers require an AC supply from 200 to 240 V (110 V optional) and consume under 200 W of power.
