The STE3000FAV2 from Ramsey is an RF Test Enclosure designed for forensics visual and hands-on interrogations of electronic devices. The system also supports electronic video/audio/timestamp recording of the entire interrogation process. It features improved attenuation gloves and a shielded viewing window, a 0.5-inch GEN-2 high-efficiency RF foam liner, GEN-2 high-efficiency RF gaskets, and an exclusive double lip RF seal to give isolation of more than 80 dB.
This test enclosure has built-in internal LED illumination, which allows seeing the device placed inside the enclosure. The enclosure also gives hands-on access to the device through silver mesh RF tight gloves. The STE3000FAV2 also provides isolation from all UMTS mobile device bands and Wi-Fi signal sources, including both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz and therefore covering any combination of 802.11a/b/g/n/ac protocols. It also protects the device from remote kill commands, remote lock commands, remote self-destruct commands, and from GPS & location tracking.
The STE3000FAV2 features a high-resolution OSD color video camera coupled with audio from the device. The internal video is RF filtered back out of the chamber and interfaced with a professional law enforcement high-resolution touch screen DVR (500 GB).
Once the device is transferred from the field to the STE3000FAV2, it can be charged with a standard 110 VAC device charger using the built-in RF filtered AC power strip. With hands-on access and real-time viewing, it gives easy access to plug the device into an RF filtered USB interface to access it with interrogation software. The STE3000FAV2 comes with standard STEUSB2071 USB 2.0 high-speed Interface, giving the full-speed access to the device while maintaining full RF isolation from the outside world. The RF filtered AC power interface, as well as the USB 2.0 interface, are located on the spacious universal removable I/O panel.
