1214B-8A Image

The 1214B-8A from ACST GmbH is a Frequency Extender that upconverts input frequencies from 13.75 - 21.25 GHz to 110 - 170 GHz. This extender has a modular design with a metallic housing that has standard input and output interfaces. It delivers an output power of 10 mW and has a mechanically-driven variable attenuator to control the output power. The frequency is fixed by ACST when ordered and does not require any adjustment for proper operation. It combines ERZIA’s high power broadband amplifier technology with ACST’s high-power broadband multiplier technology, resulting in best available performance with respect to output power, bandwidth, and spectral purity.

This extender is available in a module that measures 140 x 95 x 200 mm and has an SMA input connector with a WR-6.5 waveguide output interface. It can be ordered with an optional horn antenna for coupling the output signal to free space. This Frequency Extender is ideal for laboratory instrumentation, mmWave FMCW radar, LO sources, and active imaging applications.

The 1214B-8A has a universal AC/DC adapter for power supply.
