The 3020 Series from Cobham Wireless are compact 3U high precision PXI modular RF signal generators with an integrated dual-channel arbitrary waveform generator (AWG). This series of signal generators operates from 100 kHz to 6 GHz, providing an output power from -120 dBm to +17 dBm and support modulation bandwidths of up to 90 MHz. These PXI modules have internal analog AM/FM modulation, digital modulation and IQ vector modulation modes. They have low phase noise of -116 dBc/Hz @ 1 GHz 20 kHz offset.
The 3020 Series supports generation of complex modulated signals for digital radio communications test as well as basic AM and FM modulation and CW applications. They are ideal for WLAN, WMAN, cellular communications as well as for applications in satellite, terrestrial TV broadcasting and military communications. These PXI modules can be supplied standalone or configured ready to go within an 8 slot PXI chassis with an embedded system controller with all software pre-installed. The modules are supplied with a variety of software including applications, instrument drivers and soft front panels.
