The SG6000L from DS Instruments is a Portable Benchtop Signal Generator that operates from 25 to 6000 MHz. It delivers up to 10 dBm of output power in calibrated mode with a typical calibration accuracy of ±1.0 dB. The generator has a step size of up to 2.44 kHz and phase noise of -74 dBc at a 10 kHz offset (6000 MHz operating frequency). It has an internal variable attenuator which provides an attenuation from 0 to 31.5 dB with a typical step size of 0.5 dB. The device can be powered from a standard 5V micro-USB and supports standalone and USB remote operation.
The SG6000L has an OLED display that provides feedback to the user, and front control buttons which provide a quick alternative to USB control. This portable signal generator measures 2.75 x 1.25 x 21.5 inches and is available with premium gold microwave SMA connectors, and can easily fit in the palm of our hands.
