The R&S SMA100B from Rohde & Schwarz is a powerful analog signal generator with a frequency range up to 67 GHz. It can generate signals with very low phase noise and harmonics while delivering a high output power.  The device can provide high-level signals with extremely low, close-in phase noise of less than -152 dBc at 1 GHz and less than -132 dBc at 10 GHz, each at 20 kHz offset. The 6 GHz instrument generates up to 38 dBm RF output power, and the 20 GHz instrument generates up to 32 dBm. Non-harmonics are below -110 dBc at an output signal of 1 GHz. It is the only analog signal generator that can simultaneously provide a second, independently configurable, extremely pure and synchronized clock signal up to a frequency of 6 GHz. This signal generator has a powerful pulse modulator and generates pulses with extremely short rise and fall times and an on/off ratio of below 90 dB. It can handle the most demanding component, module and system T&M tasks in the RF semiconductor, wireless communications and aerospace and defense industries.

The signal generator is available in 3 GHz, 6 GHz, 12.75 GHz, 20 GHz, 31.8 GHz, 40 GHz, 50 GHz and 67 GHz frequency options.
