The Lab Brick 802DX from Vaunix is a USB-compatible, synthesized signal generator that operates from 2 to 8 GHz. It has 100 Hz frequency resolution, 100 microsecond frequency switching and 10 dBm output with up to 80 dB of output level control. This device has a phase noise better than -118 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz, spurious are typically lower than -70 dBc and harmonics less than -30 dBc. This device offer advanced features such as linear frequency sweeping, internal/external 10 MHz reference and optimal pulse modulation. It comes with a USB flash drive containing the GUI software, LabVeiw compatible drivers, Windows API DLL and a Linux API DLL with instruction manuals. This device is also equipped with the autonomous operation feature that allows it to operate in the absence of a USB host. It is available in a compact module that measures 4.90 × 3.14 × 1.59 inches with SMA female connectors and is designed to fit into single rack unit for ATE applications.
