The RT-2071(C) Secure CDL ISR SCISR Radio from Collins Aerospace operates from 1350 to 4990 MHz. It provides low-cost and lightweight wideband data link capability that is suitable for a wide range of applications. This radio can be configured as either a ground or airborne terminal and can be matched with a variety of antenna and power amplifiers to meet the requirements of wideband data throughput applications. It supports various waveforms such as BE-CDL and further enhancements such as legacy To Be Sunset (TBS) waveforms are added to the baseline. This radio supports LPI/LPD enhancements to enable RF operation in noisy and jammed environments and also significantly decreases the RF emissions signature of the radio.
The RT-2071(C) is Type-1 encrypted for BE-CDL and AES encrypted for TBS and STD-CDL waveforms. It delivers data rates from 200 kbps to 44.73 Mbps and supports high-bandwidth connectivity for imagery and full-motion video. This radio requires a DC supply from 10 to 32 V and consumes 24 W of power. It is available in housing that measures 5.05 x 2.25 x 0.60 inches with SMA RF connectors and complies with the MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-461F standards. The radio is ideal for use in ISR data dissemination, high-capacity backbone (HCB), and streaming video applications.
