The E-LynX™ LX from Elbit Systems is a Software Defined Radio for L-Band, S-Band, and C-Band applications. This lightweight SDR weighs 130 g and is designed for small platforms such as drones, small UGVs, and mini-UAVs. It supports multi-band, frequency hopping, MRC antenna diversity, and MIMO for ensuring robust smooth video, audio, and data between network members, under harsh channel and terrain conditions. The radio provides seamless integration with transparent IP connectivity and Quality of Service (QoS) of the network for various applications. It delivers a data-rate of up to 12 Mbps and has an operational range of up to 50 Km with an output power of 0.5 W.
The E-LynX™ LX includes Ethernet, RS-232 and USB (optional) interfaces and features AES-256 encryption. It is available in a MIL-STD-810G (environmental) and MIL-STD-461G (EMC) qualified enclosure that measures 100 x 70 x 27 mm and requires a DC supply of 12 V. This software defined radio is available in airborne configuration (ADT) and ground configurations (GDT/RVT) with either omnidirectional or dual-axis/single-axis tracking antennas system. The system provides smooth interoperability with other radios of E-LynX™ family.
