The FLEX-8600 from FlexRadio is a Software Defined Radio (SDR) Transceiver that operates from 30 kHz to 54 MHz. It has four independent band/mode receivers and supports full-duplex cross-band operation. This transceiver has a Reciprocal Mixing Dynamic Range (RMDR) of 110 dB and a direct sampling rate of 245.76 Msps (16 Bit ADC). It has an integrated GNSS receiver with in-built antenna and an optional high-performance GPSDO (GPS disciplined oscillator) for ultra-high frequency precision and accuracy. This transceiver also features game-changing band awareness, industry-leading phase noise performance / receiver dynamic range, and integrated brick wall filters that provide an advantage in the most competitive DXing.
The FLEX-8600 is designed for hams who want to operate the radio from a PC, laptop, Maestro™, Mac, or iOS client, either locally or remotely. This SDR can also be accessed remotely using the latest SmartLink® technology via an internet connection. For local interfacing, it has an 8-inch 1920 x 1200 IPS touchscreen display with ergonomic controls, delivering high-performance SDR capabilities with a traditional radio interface. The waterfall display provides clear views of the frequency bands for independent receiver.
This SDR is available in an enclosure that measures 6.74 x 14 x 13.25 inches and requires a 13.8 V DC supply for operation.
