The Cyan from Per Vices is versatile, wide-band software-defined radio that operates from 100 kHz to 20 GHz. This Direct Conversion Quadrature Transceiver and Signal Processing Platform provides simultaneous support for 16 fully independent transmit or receive radio channels, each with 1 GHz of bandwidth (3 GHz option also available). This 16-bit transceiver delivers a Tx power of up to 18 dBm and can handle an input power of up to -40 dBm. It is compatible with various signal processing tool kits, including GNU Radio, and includes source code for many of its drivers and peripherals. The transceiver consists of a 10 MHz OCXO that has a stability of 10 ppb and is capable of digital up/down conversion purposes.

The transceiver is available in a 19-inch rackmount unit that measures 482.6 x 402.0 x 133.0 mm with SMA connectors. It requires an AC supply of 120-240 V for operation.

The Cyan is available with combined RF, storage, and playback solutions that are implemented in a rack mount system and offer up to 100 TB of total data storage.
