The RN310 from Pixus Technologies is a Weatherproof Software Defined Radio (SDR) that operates from 10 MHz to 6 GHz. It is a ruggedized version of National Instruments’ (Ettus Research brand) N310 SDR, which supports four Rx and four Tx channels with each channel providing up to 100 MHz instantaneous bandwidth. This RF front end of this SDR uses two AD9371 transceivers from Analog Devices. It is available in a hardened, sealed, conduction-cooled unit to meet IP67 specifications with options to further ruggedize the unit to MIL-STD-810 for shock/vibration and MIL-STD-461 for EMI. This radio requires a DC supply of 12 V for the standard version or 24 V for versions that require an internal heater for low-temp applications. It provides customizable I/O options and has modular front and rear faceplates that are also customizable.
