The μXTx-200 from Space Micro is an X-Band Transmitter that operates from 8.025 to 8.5 GHz. It is designed to meet the demanding radiation requirements of long-term space missions and comes in ruggedized and radiation hardened design for launch and deployment feasibility. This transmitter has a channel bandwidth ranging from 100 Hz to 10 MHz and supports modulation schemes such as BPSK, QPSK, and OQPSK. It delivers an output power of 1.4 W with a data rate of up to 3.5 Gbps.
The μXTx-200 has a phase noise of less than 3° RMS in the non-coherent mode, and spurious & harmonics levels of -60 to -50 dBc. requires a DC supply of +28 V and consumes less than 80 W of power. This wideband transmitter can be controlled via RS-422, RS-485 and LVDS interfaces. It is available in a module that measures 20.8 x 15.2 x 6.6 cm and has SMA connectors. The transmitter is ideal for mission data transmitters, long-term space missions and programs requiring high data rates.
