The VXSDR-20-160 from Vesperix Corporation is a Microwave Software Defined Radio (SDR) that operates from 5 to 20 GHz. It includes a 14-bit ADC with a sample rate of 160 MSPS (million samples per second) and a 16-bit DAC with a sample rate of 160 MSPS. This SDR provides an output power of 15 dBm with a noise figure of less than 9 dB. It requires a DC supply from 9 to 15 V, consuming 25 W of power while operating and 18 W while idle. The radio includes JESD204B interfaces, 10 Gbps Ethernet interface, PPS and 10 MHz inputs and external LO input for precise synchronization. It comes with a simple API and supports Linux, Mac and Windows in development. This SDR is available in an enclosure that measures 23.9 x 10.5 x 2.4 cm with field-replaceable SMA connectors.
