The RSWM-4X8ER from Becker RF is a 4x8 Switch Matrix that operates from 20 to 8000 MHz. It has four inputs and eight outputs interconnected via a non-blocking matrix. A single input can route to multiple outputs with minimal loss of signal during transmission. This switch matrix uses a non-blocking architecture that enables specialized and general-purpose receivers to be used alongside each other and choose any of the available antennas without interference between the receivers. It integrates modern solid-state switching elements to ensure quick response to operating inputs and many switching cycles with minimum maintenance. This matrix has high linearity and low noise figures to ensure excellent signal integrity from the antenna to the receiver.
The RSWM-4X8ER provides channel isolation of better than 60 dB and an output isolation of 40 dB. It is available in variants designed for either DC or AC mains power supply for stationary and mobile applications. This matrix automatically switches off unused RF paths to reduce power consumption and save on energy costs. It has a local MMI on the front panel and LAN and USB interfaces. The switch matrix is available in a 19-inch, 1U enclosure that measures 482 x 44 x 455 mm and has SMA-female connectors. It is ideal for use in radio monitoring, spectrum monitoring, Wi-Fi 7, COMINT/SIGINT, signal routing, research & development (R&D) and test equipment applications.
