The MS-4101 from I.F. Engineering is a Patch Panel Switch Matrix that operates from DC to 6000 MHz. This switch matrix provides isolation of 50 dB and can handle 40 dBm of input power. Housed in a 3RU profile the system can connect anyone input to any one output, having a total of 4 active signals in any given moment. It is an economical solution compared to a distribution switch matrix and has been designed to automate an RF patch panel. The device operates over an AC supply voltage of 85 to 264 V.
This matrix uses the latest CrossPoint controller technology, which allows controlling the switch matrix via a user-friendly Web Interface. The new controller also adds port nickname labeling that aids in differentiation when switching between several similar antennas or receivers. It can be remotely controlled via LAN, RS-232, or RS-422. This switch matrix is available as a rack-mount unit that measures 5.25 H x 19 W x 18.1 D inches with N or SMA (F) connectors and is ideal for ATE, 5G, downlink, and uplink applications.
