The ZTVX-16-18-S from Mini-Circuits is a 2x16 Blocking Switch Matrix that operates from DC to 18 GHz. It supports bi-directional operation with an insertion loss of less than 2.5 dB and provides 90 dB of isolation. The switch matrix is ideal for expanding a standard 2-port VNA for multi-port or multi-device testing like:

  • Parallel testing of multiple 2-port devices such as filter or amplifier characterization
  • Production testing of splitter/combiner or switch components with high port counts
  • Testing of MIMO systems with high channel counts

The ZTVX-16-18-S can be controlled via USB or Ethernet (supporting both HTTP and Telnet network protocols). It provides full software support with a user-friendly GUI application for Windows and a full API with programming instructions for Windows and Linux environments (both 32-bit and 64-bit systems). This switch matrix is available in a 2U, 19-inch rack-mount chassis with SMA-female connectors on the front panel and is suitable for production test automation and VNA extension (2 ports to 16 ports). It requires an AC supply from 90 to 260 V and consumes less than 86 W of power.
