The XTREME 160 from Quintech Electronics is a Fan-Out Switch Matrix that operates from 50 – 200 MHz and 850 – 2450 MHz. This non-blocking switch solution features up to 160 ports and inputs can be routed to any or all the 160 output ports. It enables adjustable gain and attenuation on all inputs and outputs to allow users to adjust the RF level for optimum performance. This switch matrix implements a patented flexible matrix architecture that supports both symmetric and asymmetric configurations of 160 combined inputs and outputs in a single chassis. Asymmetric configurations such as 32x128, 48x80, etc. can be implemented along with the standard 64x64 configuration. It provides an input-to-input/output-to-input isolation of 60 dB and an input-to-output isolation of 55 dB.
The XTREME 160 integrates fiber optic receivers with an optical wavelength from 900 to 1650 nm. It is available in a rackmount 4RU chassis that measures 7.00 x 19.00 x 23.25 inches with F-type/BNC (75 ohms) and SMA (50 ohms) RF connectors with SC/APC or LC/APC optical ports. This switch matrix requires an AC supply from 100 to 240 V and consumes 165 W of power.
