The ADRF5043 from Analog Devices is an Absorptive Single-pole Four-throw (SP4T) Switch that operates from 9 kHz to 44 GHz. It can handle a CW input power of 24 dBm (~ 0.25 W), has an insertion loss of less than 2.5 dB, and provides more than 36 dB of isolation. This switch has a rise/fall time of 1.1 µs, an ON/OFF time of 2.8 µs, and a settling time of 7.8 µs. It employs CMOS-low voltage transistor-to-transistor logic (LVTTL) compatible controls and is manufactured using the silicon-on-insulator (SOI) process. This solid-state switch requires a dual DC supply voltage of ±3.3 V and consumes less than 370 mA of current. It is available in a 24-terminal LGA package that measures 3 x 3 mm and is ideal for use in Industrial scanners, Cellular infrastructure, 5G mm-wave, Military radios, radars, electronic countermeasures (ECMs), VSATs, and Test instrumentation applications.
