The VLS1522A from Communications & Power Industries (CPI) is an S-Band SPDT Switch that operates from 3.05 to 3.55 GHz. It can handle an input power of up to 1000 W, has a switching time of less than 5 μs, and has a switching rate of up to 1 kHz. The switch has an insertion loss of less than 1 dB and switched attenuation of more than 25 dB. It requires a DC supply of +28 V and consumes less than 500 mA of current. This switch can be controlled via an RS422 interface. It is available in a hermetically-sealed package that measures 3.5 x 3.5 x 2.0 inches and has N-type connectors. It is ideal for use in military & commercial radar systems, electronic warfare systems, and military communications applications.
