The BGS16MA12 from Infineon Technologies is an SP6T Switch that operates from 0.1 to 6 GHz for multimode handsets based on LTE and WCDMA. It has an insertion loss of less than 1.45 dB and provides an isolation of up to 50 dB. The switch consists of DC-free RF ports, and external DC blocking capacitors at the RF ports are only required if DC voltage is applied externally. It requires a DC supply of 1.65-1.95 V and is fully compatible with the MIPI 2.0 RFFE standard interface.
The switch is based on Infineon's proprietary technology and offers low harmonic generation, high port-to-port isolation, high EMI robustness. This ESD-protected switch is available in a RoHS and WEEE compliant package that measures 1.1 x 1.9 mm.
