The U2C-1SP4T-852H from Mini-Circuits is a Solid-State SP4T Switch that operates from 2 to 8500 MHz. It has a switch transition speed of 200 ns, a switching time of 2 ms, and provides up to 105 dB of isolation. This absorptive switch has an insertion loss of less than 7 dB and provides excellent intermodulation performance to meet the requirements for digital communication signals. It has I2C and USB dual control interfaces which use the I2C interface to control multiple switches in parallel from a microcontroller/embedded system using 2 wire control while USB allows quick and easy PC control method with full software support. The switch requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes less than 50 mA of current.
The U2C-1SP4T-852H comes with full software support including a user-friendly GUI application for Windows and a full API with programming instructions for Windows and Linux environments (both 32-bit and 64-bit systems). It is available in a module that measures 3.75 x 2.50 x 0.60 inches with SMA-female connectors and has built-in blocking capacitors to eliminate the need for external DC-blocking circuitry at the RF port.
