The SKY5-9256-701LF is a 4x SPST switch designed for antenna tuning applications that operate from 600 MHz to 6 GHz. This 16-state antenna aperture tuner has reliable linear operation and extremely low Ron (1.1ohm) and Coff (145fF) to deliver superior antenna performance, allowing system designers to recover the 1.5 to 3 dB gain degradation caused by shrinking antenna sizes.
The antenna tuning switch provides excellent harmonics throughout the operating range, assisting customers with achieving RSE requirements and passing certification. Switching is controlled by an integrated Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI) controller. The SKY5-9256-701LF is available in a compact 10-pin, 1.5 x 1.1 x 0.45 mm QFN package and is ideal for LTE Advanced Pro and the emerging 5G standards. No external DC blocking capacitors are required as long as no DC voltage is applied on any RF path. The antenna tuner is currently in production with samples available.
