The MMC Series from Teledyne Relays is an Electromechanical Switch Matrix that operates from DC to 40 GHz. It is designed to switch a microwave signal from a common input to any of 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 outputs. The switch matrix has an insertion loss of 1.5 dB and an isolation of over 50 dB. These multi-throw switches can be remotely operated via Ethernet or USB. Through these interfaces, the switch can be set to the desired position, which can then be read for verification. The MMC also features a graphical user interface (GUI), which will enable the user to control switches through graphical icons and visuals. This RoHS-compliant switch is available in a module with 2.9 mm SMA connectors.
