The LSW-802PDT from Vaunix is a USB Programmable Absorptive SPDT Solid-State RF Switch that operates from 100 to 8000 MHz. It has a switching speed of less than 50 ns and provides isolation of more than 90 dB. This switch can handle an input power of up to 35 dBm and has an insertion loss of less than 4.5 dB. It can be controlled via USB or Ethernet interfaces and can be programmed for fast switching or sequenced switching directly from a Windows Graphical User Interface (GUI) or WebUI. Vaunix also supplies LabVIEW drivers, Windows/Linux SDK files, and Python examples for users to develop their own interface. The switch requires a DC supply of 5 V (USB-powered) and consumes 100 mA of current.

The Vaunix USB connection uses a native USB HID interface to enable Lab Brick® users to work faster without having to install kernel-level drivers. Lab Brick® devices can be easily used on any system that supports USB HID devices, including low-cost embedded computers using Linux or similar operating systems. The LSW-802PDT is available in a module that measures 81.3 x 70.4 x 21.8 mm and has SMA-female connectors. It is ideal for antenna switching, engineering/production test stations, and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) applications.
