The SiT5008 from SiTime is a Low Power Temperature Controlled Crystal Oscillator (TCXO) that operates from 10 to 60 MHz. It has a frequency stability of ±2 ppm and provides an LVCMOS/HCMOS compatible output. The oscillator has a rise/fall time of under 2.5 ns, start-up time of less than 5 ms and a duty cycle from 45 to 55 %. It operates over a temperature range from -40° to 85°C and the oscillation frequency can be controlled up to 6 decimal places. The TCXO requires a supply voltage of 1.8/2.8 V and draws up to 4.6 mA of current. It features a 100% pin-to-pin drop-in replacement to quartz-based XO.
The SiT5008 is available in Industry-standard surface-mount package that measures 2.0 x 1.6 mm, 2.5 x 2.0 mm and is ideal for smart meter IoT low power wireless, and connected audio/video.
