The MI-173 from Kaelus is a Tower Mounted Amplifier (TMA) that operates in the 700, 800, and 900 MHz bands for uplink and downlink. It has internal diplexing on the low band port of 700, 800, and 900 MHz bands. In the uplink chain, this amplifier has an insertion loss of 0.5 dB and an intermodulation product of -160 dBc, while in the downlink chain, it provides a gain of 12 dB with a noise figure of 1.4 dB. This TMA requires a DC supply of 24 V and consumes less than 4 W of power. It is available in an IP67-rated compact pole/wall bracket-mounted housing that measures 265 x 149 x 335 mm with 7/16 (female) or 4.3-10 (female) connectors.
