The TA7982-0100-10-00 from RFI Technology Solutions is a Tower Top Amplifier that operates from 794 to 824 MHz. It consists of the tower top amplifier (TTA) and a receiver multi-coupler/TTA controller unit (RMC). This TTA has two independent quadrature LNAs, each powered by a separate power supply to improve system resiliency and availability. It includes a preselector with a selectivity of more than 110 dB before the TTA LNA and RMC active circuitry. This amplifier features a comprehensive microprocessor-controlled status and fault monitoring system that provides continuous monitoring and switching of the redundant LNAs. It requires a DC supply of 12, 24, or 48 V and can also operate on an AC supply from 90 to 264 V.
The TA7982-0100-10-00 comes with a user-friendly web server Graphical User Interface (GUI) with auto-gain, auto-mode, gain-boost, auto-bypass, and auto-recover functionality, diagnostics, and communication management available via an on-board web server GUI. It has front panel switches, front panel indicators, and a form-C relay which provide system configuration and fault status functions. This TTA is available in an IP-rated NEMA-4 weather-resistant housing that measures 236 x 256 x 120 mm with N-type (female) connectors and universal mounting brackets. It is ideal to improve the base station repeater’s receiver sensitivity and network performance for systems installed on large towers or buildings or operating in the higher (i.e. 700/800/900MHz) frequency bands.
