The ADMV8913-EP from Analog Devices is a Digitally Tunable MMIC Filter with a passband from 6.6 to 11.9 GHz. It is built using a high-pass filter (HPF) and an integrated low-pass filter (LPF), each having 4-bit digital logic control (16 states). The filter has an insertion loss of less than 5.3 dB in the passband and provides a stopband rejection of 35 dB. It can be used as a smaller alternative to large, switched filter banks and cavity-tuned filters. This filter supports defense and aerospace applications (AQEC standard) and has an operating temperature range from −55°C to +105°C.
The flexible architecture of this filter allows the 3 dB cut-off frequency of the high-pass and the low-pass filter to be controlled independently. It provides a dynamically adjustable solution for advanced communication applications. The ADMV8913-EP is available in a compact LGA package that measures 6.00 x 3.00 x 0.89 mm and is ideal for test and measurement equipment, military radar, electronic warfare, electronic countermeasures, satellite communications, industrial, and medical equipment applications.
