The TBPF-630-1400 from Fraunhofer is a Digitally Tunable Bandpass Filter with a tunable center frequency from 630 to 1400 MHz and a 1 dB bandwidth from 10.5 to 19.5%. This lumped-element tunable preselection bandpass consists of three coupled resonators. It uses a digitally tunable capacitor and allows for tuning the center frequency with a resolution of 5 bits. The filter has an insertion loss of less than 5.9 dB in the passband and provides a rejection of up to 53 dB in the stopbands. It has a switching time of 12 μs and a start-up time of 100 μs. The filter requires a 3.3 V of supply voltage and consumes up to 600 µA of current. It is available as a surface mount package that measures 15.00 x 14.00 x 3.62 mm and is suitable for applications such as multi-band receiver/transmitters, multi-standard transceivers, software-defined radios, cognitive radios, and for frequency monitoring.
