The SAX271-F1 from NewEdge Signal Solutions is a Tunable Bandpass Filter with a passband from 30 to 90 MHz. It can handle a CW input power of 5 W and a peak input power of up to 10 W. This filter has an insertion loss of less than 5.2 dB in the passband and provides a rejection from 20 dB above and below the passband. It takes less than 50 µs to switch from one frequency to the next (tuning time) and has a tuning step size of 0.5 MHz. This filter requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes less than 25 mA of current. It allows the user to control and perform functions such as chip selection and clock synchronization through the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI).
