The MAUC-010506 from MACOM is a an up-converter module that consist of an integrated mixer, LO doubler, LO buffer amplifier, and RF buffer amplifier. The up converter has an IF frequency from DC to 3.5 GHz, an LO frequency from 7090 to 13560 MHz and an RF frequency from 17.68 to 23.62 GHz. It has a conversion gain of 14 dB and an image rejection of 25 dBc. Variable gain can be achieved by adjusting the bias, with turn-down trajectories optimized to maintain linearity and 2xLO leakage over the gain control range. The output IP3 is 33 dBm at maximum gain. The MAUC-010506 is ideally suited for point-to-point radios under both LSB and USB operation. It is available in lead-free 4 mm, 24 Lead QFN package.
