The AG18 from Quectel is an automotive-grade C-V2X Module that supports PC5 Mode 4 direct communications. It delivers a data rate of up to 30 Mbps and supports vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V), vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) and vehicle-to-pedestrian (V2P) communications on the unified 5.9 GHz ITS band without the need for a (U)SIM, cellular subscription or network assistance. This module is compatible with 3GPP Rel-14 and Rel-15 specifications and meets connected vehicles’ demand for communication with lower latency, high reliability and high throughput.
The AG18 supports the use of multiple antennas at the same time and on the same frequency band. It has an optional embedded dual-frequency and multi-constellation high-sensitivity GNSS receiver to improve positioning speed and accuracy. This module supports MIMO technology to meet the demands for data rate and link reliability in modem wireless communication systems. It is available in an LGA package that measures 28.00 x 32.00 x 2.85 mm and is ideal for driving safety, autonomous driving, intelligent transport system (ITS) and advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) applications.
