The VS-403 from Vectron International is a Voltage Controlled SAW Oscillator (VCSO) that can be tuned to a frequency from 5 to 7 GHz with a tuning voltage from 0 to 3.3 V. It provides a 14 fs rms jitter in the 12 kHz to 20 MHz integration bandwidth and has a low phase noise. The VCSO requires a 3.3 V supply and provides a sinewave output. The VS-403 is available in a 13 x 20 mm surface mount package and is ideal for high-speed ADCs, military, wireless BTS and test & measurement applications.
