The AT-VEX-06 from AT Microwave is a VNA Frequency Extension Module that operates from 110 to 170 GHz (D-band). It has an input RF/LO frequency range of 9.17 to 14.17 GHz and with a 12x multiplier. This extension module delivers a Tx RF output power of -5 dBm and can handle an RF source input power of +6 dBm. It has a dynamic range of 100 dB and a variable attenuation range of 0 to 25 dB.

This VNA extension module has single Tx & Rx module and is available in three options: the FTFR option for full two-port tests, the FTSR option for through-reflect tests, and the STSR option for through tests only. It has a magnitude stability of +/-0.25 dB and a phase stability of +/-4 degrees.

The AT-VEX-06 is available in a package that measures 288 x 105 x 55 mm and has a WR-06 waveguide interface with UG-387/U-M flange (for RF Tx) and SMA female connectors (for Tx/Rx RF input, Tx/Rx LO input, Tx/Rx IF test, and Tx/Rx IF reference). It is ideal for VNA frequency extension, S21/S11/S22 tests, radar systems, and RCS test applications.
