The PLVCO Series from Luff Research are Phase-Locked Voltage Controlled Oscillators from 10 MHz to 32 GHz. They provide an output power of more than +13 dBm with a variation of 2 dB and a phase noise of -140 dBc/Hz (at 1 MHz offset). These PLVCO’s can be configured to operate with either an external reference from 10 to 100 MHz or an internal TCXO (±0.5 PPM). They have spurious levels of -70 dBc and harmonics of -30 dBc. These oscillators require a DC supply of 5.5 V and consumes 250 mA of current. They are available as a module that measures 2.25 x 2.25 x 0.62 inches.
