The STA-60-28-D5 from ERAVANT is a Ka-Band Direct Reading Attenuator that operates from 26.5 to 40 GHz. It has a total attenuation range of 60 dB with 0.01 dB step size from 0 to 20 dB attenuation and 0.1 dB step size from 20 to 60 dB attenuation. The device has an insertion loss of 0.5 dB and a return loss of 22 dB. It can handle up to 250 mW of pulsed, 150 mW of CW, and 1000 mW of peak input power.

The STA-60-28-D5 has a digital screen that indicates the attenuation value directly. It is powered by a rechargeable built-in battery, which can support up to 10 hours of continues operation with the backlight ON and 40 hours with the backlight OFF. The battery can be charged by a provided AC adapter via a standard USB-C cable or the attenuator can be operated while charging by using the AC adapter. The attenuator is available in a module that measures 6.87 x 1.58 x 2.70 inches with WR-28 Waveguide Flange input and output and is suitable for applications such as test lab, instrumentations, and manual test set.
