The WR51 from Scientific Microwave Corporation is a Double Attenuator Assembly that operates from 17.3 to 20.7 GHz. It consists of an end-launch adapter integrated with a double attenuator that is used for monitoring RF power. The assembly provides a deep matching level and flat attenuation with high power handling over the whole operating frequency band. It provides an attenuation of 30 dB (forward and reverse), has an insertion loss of 1.2 dB, and directivity of more than 14 dB. This attenuator can handle a CW input power of 20 W and has a VSWR of 1.6:1. It is available in an aluminium enclosure with a WR-51 waveguide input interface and SMA-female output connector.
