The WR22 from Scientific Microwave Corp. is a 4-Way Waveguide Power Combining System that operates from 40 to 50 GHz. It consists of a 4-way combiner integrated with a cross-guide coupler and has a nominal coupling of 30 dB. This system provides directivity of more than 18 dB, near-field isolation of 21 dB, and far-field isolation of 30 dB. It can handle an input power of 12 W and has an insertion loss of 1.3 dB. The combiner system is available in a module with a 2.4 mm (male) input connector and WR22 output waveguide interface. It is ideal for power-combining networks, radar systems, and satellite applications.
